How do you make beats for songs on the computer?

How do you make your own beats that are for free without paying for anything at all? If possible, are there any good ones that don’t require installment or downloading? Please and Thank you!

If you want to make good beats then you have to pay. Either that or download the program off of a torrent site. However I can’t discuss that here or I’ll get banned. You’ll have to e-mail me. Reason is one of the best also Virtual DJ.

I need a music software for my computer where I can compose my own rap songs, mainly so I can make beats and instruments in the background. I know about music so I want something where I can actually write the music, not just a bunch of preset tracks to throw together. I want to create custom beats then add my own composed instrumental pieces to the beats, all within the program.

i made this beat back in ‘05, but i’m still pretty proud of it so i wanted to share it. i took time with the bassline, build up and breakdown. nothing too choppy so it flows good and tells a story. it was originally titled “Virginia’s 4 Haters”. for those that don’t know, VA’s slogan is Virginia’s for lovers hence the name.

How do you count heart beats when measuring pulse?

I know how to do it, where to touch and how to feel. What I don’t know is how to count the beats. The heart goes ba-boom, ba-boom, ba-boom, ba-boom. Do you count every beat, or just the main beats?

Like:

ba-boom
ba-boom
ba-boom
ba-boom

Would that be 4 beats or 8 beats?

That would be 4 beats. Eat beat consists of contraction and relaxation, so it may seem like 2 different beats, but it’s all one single cycle.

I want a good piano that I can make beats out of it (Rap) and I also want a good software in which I can record it playing using midi, or usb something like that. I also herd that you can put instruments from the program into the piano. So thanks, please describe whats good about the piano and what good about the software

not too familiar with the piano and all its components but i do know a few good softwares you can try out….Audacity is my favorite (mostly because i took the time to learn all of it – which is key) and Mix Craft…..Audacity was a little hard to pick up on but easy once you learn it, and Mix Craft is pretty easy to learn
