Where could I Buy Beats by Dr.Dre and customize them where they’re not 500$?

I know that Colorwear or -were, w/e sells the beats by dr.dre for about 500$ but i’ve seen many reviews that state that only colorwere sells them for 500$ and that i can buy them and customize them for their regular price… ANy clues or does anyone know where or how?
what i mean is by the itnernet, some people say there is an official site that sells the beats, and you can customize them without having to pay the extra 150$

I think you have to get them done by Colorware. It’s the only place I’ve seen them. I’m gonna get them.

Which headphones I should buy? Beats by Dr. Dre Tour or Bose In-Ear?

I wan’t to know which one I should buy because I’m bored of always buying new headphones because my cheap ones broke so I wan’t headphones that will stand for long. I saw that Beats by Dr. Dre Tour and Bose In-Ear are good also but witch are the best. I wan’t good basse, good respond and headphone that the cable won’t make node easily when in my pocket. I saw that the Bose are 50$ cheaper but are they better. Thanks for an answer.
I just saw that bose are not in-ear so I would like people to tell me which are other good brands for headphones but not Sennheiser because I had bad experience with them. Thanks.

Don’t trust the reviews on Amazon, they’re written largely by people who compare headphones to stock iPod earbuds, which are terrible.

Bose In-Ears sound horrible, I wouldn’t recommend it. First of all, they don’t seal off outside noise because they have an open back and allow in a lot of noise, defeats the purpose of an in-ear headphone design. The bass is over-emphasized and muddy.

Dr. Dre Tour is OK, at best. Way overpriced, and the sound quality is not that great in the lows, mids, or highs. You are paying for the brand in this case too.

Sennheiser makes some great earpad, and circumaural headphones. They also make very well-regarded higher end in ear headphones, specifically the IE7, IE8. Those would be pretty expensive, and I’m guessing out of your price range. Unfortunately, Sennheiser’s lower end In-ear products don’t cut it in terms of sound quality.

I would check out the Klipsch Image S4s, they are comfortable, have plenty of well-defined bass, robust cables, clear mids, decent highs, and an overall pleasing sound. They can run around $70 retail, but outpeform the Dres and Bose. Klipsch’s oval shaped ear-gels are surprisingly comfortable and very easy to get a good "seal" with, this is key to getting the right sound from an in-ear headphone.

Another recommendation that’s slightly cheaper is the Nuforce NE-7M, it’s got rich bass and reasonably balance across the rest of the audible spectrum. The cable is incredibly robust and hassle free.

The reason I recommend the Klipsch S4s, is because you can use the stock tips, or use several aftermarket tips such as Comply Foams intended for the product or Shure Black foam sleeves. These help tweak the sound and fit around. The nozzle size is just right for that. On top of this, the S4s were designed to minimize distortion acting upon the diaphragm, and the result is an incredibly smooth presentation for a dynamic headphone in this price range.
